Tipsies are a great Christmas cookie to make and share around the holidays.

Ingredients

  • 1, 6-ounce package
  • 1 tablespoon light corn syrup
  • 1/3 cup bourbon
  • 21/2 cups (71/2-ounce package) finely crushed vanilla wafers
  • 1 cup finely chopped nuts
  • 1/2 cup confectioner's sugar

Directions

  1. Melt chocolate chips in top of double boiler
  2. Add corn syrup and bourbon and mix well
  3. Combine crushed vanilla wafers and nuts in a large bowl
  4. Pour chocolate mixture ovefr dry ingredients and mix well
  5. Let stand 30 minutes
  6. Shape into 1-inch balls and roll in confectioners sugar
  7. Store in tightly closed container and let ripen several days before needed
