Rigatoni with sausage and mushrooms recipe.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 pound hot Italian sausage
  • 1 pound mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/2 teaspoon rosemary
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 cup beef stock
  • 2 cups Half & Half
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 pound rigatoni

Directions

  1. Melt butter and sauté onion 5 minutes
  2. Add sausage and cook 15 minutes
  3. Add mushrooms and rosemary, cook until tender; add wine and bay leaf; boil until liquid evaporates
  4. Add stock and cook until syrupy
  5. Add Half & Half; cook until slightly thickened; add cheese and rigatoni.
