Peaches and strawberries are two of the sweetest and most delicious summer fruits. Take advantage of the season with this peach-strawberry crisp recipe that's perfect for summer outdoor entertaining.


  • 8 large peaches, peeled, pitted and cubed
  • 1 cup strawberries, cleaned and quartered
  • ½ teaspoon ground ginger
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • For Topping:
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • ½ teaspoon ground ginger
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 sticks unsalted butter, melted


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
  2. Place peaches and strawberries in a large mixing bowl
  3. Combine ginger, sugar, and flour in a small bowl and sprinkle over fruit; toss to combine
  4. Spray a large casserole dish or 8 small ramekins with nonstick baking spray
  5. Spoon fruit into dish or divide evenly among ramekins
  6. In a medium mixing bowl, combine all dry topping ingredients, pour melted butter over, and stir to combine
  7. Drop spoonfuls of crumb topping over fruit in the baking dish or ramekins to cover all the fruit and use all the topping
  8. Bake, uncovered, for 1 hour (large dish) or 35 minutes (ramekins) at 350 degrees F, until topping is golden brown and filling is bubbling
  9. Remove from oven and let stand for 15 minutes before serving
