Recipe for Onion Gravy. Try this gravy on mashed or baked potatoes, pork chops, steak, meatloaf, or whatever! Use your imagination.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup onion, minced
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 1 1/3 cups beef or pork stock
  • 1 tablespoon minced parsley
  • 1/4 cup dry red wine

Directions

  1. Makes About 2 cups
  2. Sauté onion in butter for about 3-5 minutes, or until slightly browned. Whisk in flour and add remaining ingredients. Simmer for 3-5 minutes, stirring constantly. Serve.
