I must confess I am crazy about those popular harden on your ice cream chocolate sauces. I love how the chocolate turns crispy once it touches the bowl of creamy goodness and yet melts smoothly in your mouth with each succulent bite. The liquid chocolate sauce does seem to possess some sort of magic as it suddenly hardens on the ice cream. However, it turns out that the magic boils down to two special ingredients. You'd never think that making your own homemade magic shell chocolate sauce could be so ridiculously easy. Maybe that's the magic.
Magic shell recipe
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 2 tablespoons coconut oil
- On the stove, melt the chocolate chips on the lowest heat until it is melted.
- Stir in the coconut oil.
- Let it cool. Do not store it in the fridge.
- Serve it on your ice cream as a topping and enjoy!
