While pricier than regular coffee grinders, Capresso's Conical Burr grinder does a much better job. When I read in the instructions to my espresso machine that Burr Grinders will make a difference in the quality of the finished coffee drink, I thought it was sale literature rubbish. However, after comparing side by side, the coffee I grind with the conical grinder actually does make a better espresso or cappuccino than my regular blade grinder (which has now been retired to grinding spices only).
This grinder is pretty close to the professional models used in high end coffee shops. Whole coffee beans are ground with less heat and friction than traditional coffee grinders, making for less dust and a more fragrant and flavorful cup of coffee.
The container holds up to 8.8 ounces of beans. A timer dial let you determine just how much coffee to grind. Cleanup is easy and takes less than a minute -- simply remove the empty bean container, lift the upper burr inside the grinding chamber, and use the special brush included with the grinder to clean.
This is a fabulous accessory for anyone who truly enjoys a good cup of Joe (or espresso or cappuccino). The Infinity Conical Grinder comes in a sleek stainless steel model or a stylish black (pictured).
